 Booking Policies!

 

BOOKING:

  • If your appointment is not in my calendar, we don’t have an appointment. If you do not go to ashleyakemi.com, click on “book an appointment”, and pay your $50 deposit to secure your spot, and confirm that you received a confirmation email, you do not have an appointment.

  • All appointments will need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

 

CONTACT:

Don't hesitate to reach out! However, if it is during normal work hours, Tuesday -Saturday 9am-8pm, I may be working on someone’s hair. I don’t check my phone while I am doing hair so that I can give that person in my chair my full respect and attention, so please be patient with me if I don’t reply right away. I will get back to you. Sorry in advance for delayed replies!

 

DEPOSIT:

  • The cost of the deposit for every appointment is $50.

  • The deposit will be put toward the total cost of your appointment.

  • If your appointment is cancelled due to extreme tardiness, late rescheduling, or no-show, the $50 deposit you placed for your appointment is forfeited. No, you may not transfer that deposit to a new appointment. You will be required to place a new deposit for your next appointment.

 

RESCHEDULING:

  • If you need to reschedule your appointment, no problem! Just reschedule more than 48 hours before your appointment. You can do this by going back to your confirmation email and using the rescheduling link. Unfortunately, if you are unable to reschedule more than 48 hours in advance, your deposit will be forfeited and not applicable to your new appointment.

 

PENALTIES:

  • Your appointment will most likely be cancelled if you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your hair appointment. This is because there may be people who have an appointment after yours, and it is not fair to me to have me running behind for the remainder of my day, and not fair to the people that come to their appointments on time.

  • If your appointment is cancelled due to extreme tardiness, late rescheduling, or no-show, the $50 deposit you placed for your appointment is forfeited. No, you may not transfer that deposit to a new appointment. You will be required to place a new deposit for your next appointment.

  • I charge 50% of the service fee for no-call no-show. The card that you used for your appointment will be charged.

 

Return Policy  

There will be no refunds processed on hair extensions purchased from Akemi Hair. No returns or exchanges on hair extensions. 

 

Shipping

All orders purchased before 5pm EST will be mailed the following day. 

 

FAQs

How long should I keep in my sew in?

Your sew in or wig installation should not be kept in for any longer than 3-4 weeks as to allow your natural hair to receive the tender lovin' care and attention that it needs.

By booking an appointment online at ashleyakemi.as.me, I authorize Ashley Waite to preform hair extensions services and other cosmetic services, including but not limited to, hair color, hair cutting, and other chemical services or treatments on my natural hair and on my extensions at the time of my scheduled hair appointment and in all future hair appointments. I understand the proper at-home care that is to be done for my natural hair and my extensions. By booking online, I waive my right to hold Ashley Waite, Akemi Hair LLC, or any party associated with the named parties legally liable for any damage or hair breakage to my natural hair or my hair extensions, or for any undesired results.
