Akemi Academy Class Policies

By registering for an Akemi Academy class, workshop, or educational experience, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies. Please review these policies carefully before completing your purchase.

All Sales Are Final

All Akemi Academy class registrations and ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.

Once registration has been completed, refunds will not be issued for cancellations, scheduling conflicts, travel delays or disruptions, illness, failure to attend, or any other circumstance that prevents an attendee from participating.

We encourage all attendees to confirm their availability and make any necessary travel arrangements before purchasing.

Registration & Ticket Transfers

Class registrations are valid only for the individual registered to attend and may not be resold or transferred without prior written approval from Akemi Academy.

If you need to request a change to the attendee name associated with a registration, please contact academy@akemihair.com prior to the class. Approval of transfer requests is at the discretion of Akemi Academy.

Attendance & Late Arrivals

Attendees are responsible for arriving at the location and time provided for their class.

Class schedules, check-in times, locations, and other event-specific information will be provided on the applicable registration page and/or in communications sent to registered attendees.

Late arrival, early departure, or failure to attend does not qualify for a full or partial refund.

Class Format

Akemi Academy offers various educational formats, including Look & Learn demonstrations, hands-on classes, workshops, and other educational experiences.

The format and inclusions of each class will be clearly identified on its individual registration page. Attendees are responsible for reviewing the class description and requirements before purchasing.

Photography, Video & Recording

Photography and short-form personal video may be permitted during designated portions of an Akemi Academy class at the instructor’s discretion.

Recording a class in its entirety, livestreaming instruction, or reproducing, distributing, selling, or otherwise sharing Akemi Academy’s educational materials or instruction without authorization is prohibited.

Akemi Academy reserves the right to restrict photography or recording at any time during a class.

Educational Materials

Any course materials, demonstrations, techniques, guides, handouts, presentations, or other educational content provided by Akemi Academy are intended for the registered attendee’s personal educational use.

Akemi Academy materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, resold, published, or used to create or teach another educational program without written authorization.

Event Changes, Rescheduling & Cancellation

Akemi Academy reserves the right to make reasonable changes to class schedules, instructors, demonstrations, locations, or other event details when necessary.

If Akemi Academy cancels or reschedules a class, affected attendees will be contacted directly with information regarding the options available for their registration.

Conduct

Akemi Academy is committed to maintaining a professional and respectful learning environment.

Disruptive, unsafe, threatening, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from a class. An attendee who is removed for violating class policies or interfering with the learning environment will not be entitled to a refund.

Agreement to Policies

By completing a registration or purchasing a ticket for an Akemi Academy class, you acknowledge that you have reviewed, understood, and agreed to these Class Policies.
